Skill runtime for AI coding agents

One install.
Every agent.

psy gives Claude Code, Codex and Antigravity the same skill set and safety guard — from one static binary with no runtime to maintain.

$curl -fsSL https://psykit.psycray.com/install.sh | sh

  • ~10 MB static binary

On Windows, run irm https://psykit.psycray.com/install.ps1 | iex in PowerShell, or grab the .exe below — full Windows guide.

What one install puts in place

Three things, on every agent you use, from the same command.

Skills

A shared skill set

Skills land in the canonical store and are linked into each agent's own directory, so one install reaches every surface and a lockfile records what went where.

Guard

A check on every tool-call

Secret files and destructive commands are refused before they run. A project tunes the rules with .aiguard.json; a broken config tightens the guard rather than opening it.

Reversible

Nothing you cannot undo

Hooks and the status line go into fenced blocks in your own config files, backed up first and parsed rather than grepped — so psy uninstall takes back exactly what it wrote.

02Binaries

Download the binary

Every build is static and self-contained — nothing else to install.

Then make it executable and install:

chmod +x psy-* && ./psy-* install
03Next

After installing

  1. The launcher lands at ~/.local/bin/psy — add that to your PATH if it is not already there.
  2. Run psy doctor to confirm the skills, hooks and status line are wired on every host.
  3. To upgrade, run the same install again — it reconciles skills, hooks and the launcher in place.
  4. Changed your mind? psy uninstall removes the blocks it wrote and leaves the rest of your config untouched.

Per-OS steps, the full list of files written, and guard tuning live in the docs.
